Year 2018 "We are Healthy"
For Fraternidad-Muprespa, people are the most important thing, both for its reason for being as a mutual insurance company for work accidents and for its commitment to the health and well-being of its stakeholders. This is reflected in the internal Safety, Health and Well-being at Work policy, considering that people and their well-being constitute the basic and fundamental element of the organization.

Guaranteeing health and well-being, articulating precise prevention mechanisms, has always been an obligation and a priority for the company. The development of actions such as health and safety campaigns, specific training, participation in social, labor, ethical and environmental benefits, health controls, and dietary and health recommendations are some of the examples of the Mutual Fund's involvement with the health and well-being of its employees. An implication that goes beyond the classic concept of occupational health and whose purpose is to improve the aspects that impact the well-being and comprehensive satisfaction of its employees, that is, human resources, work organization, the reconciliation of work and family life, equality and, of course, safety at work.
This line of work began in 2014 with the Adherence to the Luxembourg Declaration; formalizing the commitment to the integration of the basic principles of health promotion at work. Since then, projects and actions have been developed that support this commitment, thus, in 2017, the entity obtained the Healthy Business Excellence System certificate from Lloyd's Register, through which the management and involvement of the organization is recognized to profile itself as a healthy space, promoting the health and well-being of employees and their family environment as well as the Mutual's interest groups.
Maintaining this trajectory and in order to reaffirm the concept of a healthy company, Fraternidad-Muprespa will celebrate during 2018 the year “We Are Healthy”, a motto with which it aims to transfer and implement the concept of the binomial of well-being at work and quality of life. To achieve this, various programs and actions have been designed, such as:
- Keep our staff aware of the importance of “being healthy” through our Intranet: news, blogs, advice, recommendations, etc.
- Project the idea of “We are Healthy” in our communication channels and website and make the idea visible in events, events, conferences, etc.
- Strengthen campaigns within the health field, especially in relation to healthy habits and lifestyles.
- Look for formulas for the active participation of our staff in activities that are considered healthy, in the field of physical exercise, nutrition and mobility.
- Maintain comfortable and safe physical work environments, with measures that imply minimal or no occupational risks and improve environmental conditions and energy savings.
- Promote new initiatives that improve work organization and enhance the company culture, values and ethics at work, beliefs and practices regarding family conciliation and equality, as well as corporate social responsibility plans and projects.

Our desire is to improve the living conditions of both the members of the entity and its stakeholders.
