This Thursday the awards jury met to evaluate the candidates competing for the award, a total of 61.
The awards recognize associated companies highly committed to the prevention of occupational risks that demonstrate that they have carried out or are carrying out preventive actions that represent an improvement in the safety, health and well-being of their workers, beyond mere compliance with the regulations. prevention.
After being held in nine editions, to which more than 570 projects have participated, the Escolático Zaldívar Awards are a faithful reflection of the determined commitment of mutual companies to safety and health in the work.
The jury of this 10th edition has evaluated the applications presented by 55 mutual companies, which total more than 30,000 protected workers. This jury is made up of:

The award categories are five and in each one a first prize and up to three honorable mentions will be awarded.They are as follows:
- PLUS PREVENTION: recognition of preventive improvement actions aimed at reducing occupational accidents and occupational diseases in one of the five major areas that make up occupational risk prevention: occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, applied psychosociology or health surveillance.
- TALKING ABOUT PREVENTION: recognition of the work of communication, dissemination and promotion of prevention both internally within the company and externally.
- WE FEEL PREVENTION: recognition of good preventive practices related to road safety, the gender perspective, active aging, equality, diversity, inclusive occupational risk prevention for workers with special abilities, new technologies, innovation or R&D products that avoid/minimize existing occupational risks or improve the working conditions of the job. work.
- WALKING TOWARDS WELL-BEING: recognition of programs and projects to promote healthy habits among workers, both on a physical and emotional level, including mental health care.
