Natalia Fernández Laviada, Deputy General Director of Prevention, Quality and Communication of the Mutua, participated in the table “Communication Strategies for the Promotion of Occupational Health and Safety”, in which she presented the Mutua campaign.#Let'sBelieveIt, aligned with the declaration, by the Ministry of Labor of 2026 as Year of Safety and Health at Work, and which represents a direct call to institutions, companies, professionals and society to place prevention in the preeminent place.

The campaign was born addressing four axes: reinforcing the role of prevention technicians, encouraging companies to internalize safety and health at work as a priority, demanding resources and institutional commitment, and raising awareness among citizens about the real impact of work accidents and occupational diseases.

Fernández Laviada explained that the campaign motto for this year is “ Caring is also…” and recalled that “Prevention is also a way of caring, as is accompanying companies to create safer, healthier work environments with lower accident rates.”.

During the debate he highlighted that one of the most persistent errors in preventive communication is not really believe in the PRL and continue using technical, distant and unattractive language, and insisted that communicating prevention is not repeating rules, but translate the messages so that they connect with whoever receives them. The PRL, it was recalled, cannot continue to be associated only with obligation or sanction, but with value, well-being and organizational culture.

The intervention focused on three key transformations: speaking for those who listen, humanizing prevention by incorporating emotion and real experiences, and moving the discourse from fear to shared responsibility. Only in this way, it was stated, can informative content become micro-actions, conversations and safe behaviors within organizations.

Another of the central points was the role of LinkedIn as a strategic space to position the PRL in the public debate. With more than 310 million monthly active users, the platform allows you to give professionals a face, connect prevention with current topics such as mental health, digital well-being or new ways of working, and build community beyond traditional vertical communication. “Trust is everything, and LinkedIn is today a key channel to generate credibility and conversation”, he noted.

The intervention concluded with a call for coherence, repetition and humanization as pillars to build a real preventive culture, and with the clear message that adapting is essential.

At the table, moderated by Dolores Rico,  they also participated Juanjo Sánchez (Juanjo Fire Fighting) y José Manuel Muñoz, executive director of Serpresur.

Fraternidad-Muprespa thus reaffirms its commitment to prevention that is closer, more humane and more connected to the challenges of current work with its participation in the Congress, in which it was already present last year to speak about digitization of the PRL.
