At the event, the speaker highlighted the importance of maintaining the integration of the gender perspective in the prevention of occupational risks over time as something “crucial to ensure that initial efforts are not diluted and that gender differences in the work environment continue to be effectively addressed.”
Merlo stressed that all companies, "whatever size they are They must have a Protocol against Workplace Harassment. Each company must establish its priorities when implementing the guidelines for the integration of the gender perspective in preventive management, starting with what it considers most important based on its business strategy, risks, personnel characteristics, or any other criteria it manages.
To do this, he recommended drawing up a schedule of the process and the activities to be carried out, marking milestones that allow for monitoring and starting from the fact that the essential previous step "is to have data disaggregated by sex, for example, asking the mutual insurance company to analyze accident rates for the last five years for men and women to analyze trends in accident rates."
